  • Jai Mirchandani

    Founder and Portfolio Manager

    Jai Mirchandani is responsible for our investment research and portfolio management. Prior to ELMRI, Jai spent nine years at JCP Investment Partners as Portfolio Manager of the JCP Benchmark Insensitive Australian Equities Strategy. He has also spent time as an investment banker in London, and trading and structuring equity and derivate strategies in Melbourne. He holds both Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science degrees from The University of Melbourne, and a MSc Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.

  • Michael Fitzsimmons

    Advisor

    Michael Fitzsimmons is an Investment Advisor to ELM Responsible Investments, with a particular focus on investment process and quantitative modelling. Michael has over 30 years’ experience in the investment and financial industry. He was co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of JCP Investment Partners, a boutique fund manager that grew to manage over $10 billion for retail and institutional investors. There he worked with Jai managing the JCP Benchmark Insensitive Australian Equities Strategy.

  • Brian Johnson

    Advisor

    Brian Johnson has over 25 years of investment and financial markets experience. He was a Director at Goldman Sachs, having worked in Tokyo, New York, London, Melbourne and Sydney for over 10 years. He also has experience advising large financial institutions including The Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Iress, Westpac Banking Corporation and First Sentier. He brings a global perspective and diverse financial markets experience to ELM Responsible Investments.

  • Sarah Bekessy

    Advisor

    Professor Sarah Bekessy leads the Icon Science Research Group at RMIT University which uses interdisciplinary approaches to solve complex biodiversity conservation problems. She is particularly interested in understanding the role of human behaviour in conservation, in designing cities to encourage ‘every day nature’ experiences and in defining and measuring ‘nature positive’ development. Sarah is a Lead Councillor of The Biodiversity Council. She brings this wealth of expertise to ELM Responsible Investments as a Sustainability and Biodiversity Advisor.
